Because of the wide scope of this cover it is almost always necessary to provide proper proof of loss and therefore on discovery of loss:-

• Report the loss to the police.
• Inform CIC immediately.
• Obtain precisely worded statements of the circumstances of the loss from the employees involved.
• Obtain full statements from witnesses wherever possible.
• Provide satisfactory documentary evidence which supports the quantum of loss.

This insurance may contain conditions precedent to liability of the Insurers, such as:

• Cash must be accompanied by at least one armed guard or
• A record of all transits must be kept

Failure to follow these conditions could result in your claims being denied.
