As soon as you become aware of an accident or incident which may give rise to a claim under this policy it is imperative that you:-

• Obtain full details of the circumstances, including names and addresses, nature of injuries, and/or description of property, for all the third parties involved.
• A written report from the member of staff to whom the accident/incident was reported or who witnessed the accident/incident should be forwarded to CIC immediately. This report should give a full description of the accident/incident and where possible indicate oif it was due to some action for which you are responsible. (See attached example of the type of information required).
• Refer all claimants to your insurers who will deal directly with them.
• Do not make any admission of liability, or offer or promise to pay monies without the written consent of the Insurers.
• Submit any correspondence, notice, writ, summons or other written communications relating to the accident to us or to your Insurers immediately upon receipt.

Submit any incident occur involving a member of the public, the following information should be obtained. CIC should be telephoned in the event of any serious incident. The injured party should be referred directly to your Insurer if they intend to pursue a claim.

• Injured Party’s Name and Address
• Phone Number
• Full description of accident
• Nature of Injuries
• Names and Telephone Numbers of witnesses
• Name of person to whom the accident was reported
• Sunsequent destination of the injured party (Home, doctor, Hospital)
