  • Sita Ali – Manager, Human Resources & Corporate Secretary
    Sita began her career in CIC in 1974 as an accounts clerk performing secretarial duties a year later.

    She served in various departments at CIC during her stay here gaining an all round knowledge of the company’s operations and attended training sessions at Roytec Institute and the Cipriani Labour College.

    In 2000 she was appointed Assistant Corporate Secretary and later Corporate Secretary/Human Resource Manager.

  • Stephen Fong – Manager, Claims Department
    Stephen joined Caribbean Claims Consultants Limited (local Loss Adjuster) in 1970 and became manager with responsibilities for Adjusting and negotiating Claims and preparing Surveys.  In 1974 he was appointed Claims and underwriting supervisor at Royal Caribbean Insurance Limited.  10 years later he joined Colonial Fire & General Insurance (COLFIRE) as Claims Controller/Underwriting and Marketing Manager.  In 1984 he was appointed Director/Operations manager at Furness Anchorage General Insurance Limited.

    10 years later he joined The Reinsurance Company of Trinidad & Tobago Limited as Technical Manager – Claims & Underwriting.

    In 2009 Stephen joined CIC as Head of its Claims Department.

  • J C Barry Edghill – Manager, Employee Benefits
    Barry joined the industry in 1972 in the Group Life, Health and Pensions department of United Security Life.  He subsequently moved to M&M Insurance Services Limited 5 years as Sales Manager, Life and Pensions where later he was elevated to the post of Managing Director of that company. Almost 20 years later he joined American Life & General Insurance Trinidad (Local AIG Operation) as sales manager and later was appointed Vice President with overall responsibilities for Group and Pension business in Trinidad, the Eastern Caribbean, Cayman Islands and the Netherland Antilles.

    In 2007 he was contracted by the Beacon Insurance Company to establish and Individual Life and Health department.

    In 2009 Barry joined CIC as head of its Employee Benefits Division.

     

  • Patricia Lima – Branch Manager (South operations)
    Patricia has been involved in the insurance business for the past thirty-four (34) years. She has a well balanced practical insurance experience, having worked with insurance companies and insurance broking houses.

    She has recently re-joined CIC, accepting the position of Manager, San Fernando Branch, with direct responsibility to the development and growth of the branch including staff compliance with CIC’s high standards of service to its various clientele.

    Apart from her leading role at the branch, she also serves on CIC’s Executive Management Team, participating in the monitoring of a diverse mix of business issues, including, product and emerging claims issues, value added options employee benefits relative to health life and pension concerns and local and international market trends.

    Her ability to communicate with clients,  understand  their needs and provide solutions, has proven to be a valuable asset to our organization and a much needed resource to clients.

    She is respected in the local insurance industry and is well placed to provide excellent service in the San Fernando area and its environs.

    Patricia received training in various aspects of insurance at The Academy of Insurance. She further developed herself by completing courses in performance management and computer literacy programmes.
